C C Shroff Research Institute (CCSRI) is a society (institute) registered under the Govt. of India Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860. The Institute is approved by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) for conducting applied research in agriculture and allied fields,

Objective


  • Generation of farmers’ friendly technologies through applied research for improving the farm productivity with bifocal emphasis on drought and salinity management leading to improvements of natural resource base and economic returns.

  • Motivating, educating and empowering farmers through community participation for good production practices in agriculture for enhancement of farm productivity and income.

Vision & Mission


  • The vision of CCSRI is participatory and community centric i.e. participatory empowerment of rural community for prosperity through agriculture and allied sectors.

  • The mission of CCSRI is economy & ecology centric i.e. Economically sustainable agriculture (drought & salinity) for affordable, safe and nutrient healthy farm production without any deterioration of the natural resource base and ecology.
